Karen Ann Jones

Karen Ann Jones, of Marshfield, died August 3, 2022. She was 80 years old. Devoted daughter of the late John Walsh and Yvonne (Galdi). Loving sister of the late Robert Jones. She is survived by nephews Robert J. Jones of IA, William H. Jones of FL, and Barry A. Jones of FL. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews Amanda Blau, Ashley Laprade, Zachary Jones, Matthew Jones and Gabrielle Jones, and her aunt, Frances Galdi and many beloved friends and cousins.  Beloved and dear friend of Josephine and Hendrick Workman of Sharon.  Karen graduated from MA College of Art in Boston. She worked at the Boston Redevelopment Authority and co-founded Ampersand Graphics in Boston. She was also a long-time employee of the U.S. Postal Service in Norwell, MA. In her role as a mail carrier, she delighted in befriending the many dogs along the delivery route. She volunteered at her local library and generously supported animal welfare organizations. Karen had many interests including genealogy, art, collecting a broad range of books and stamps, photography and creating Japanese watercolors. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the MSPCA and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.  A graveside service will be held in Knollwood Memorial Park Canton Thursday August 11^th at 11 AM.
