Eve R. Beer originally from Danzig, Germany and more recently of South Easton, Stoughton and Jamaica Plain died peacefully at home November 5, 2022. She was 83 years old. Eve was a biochemist who worked in research for the Boston University Medical Center for over 35 years. She taught English as a second language (ESL) at the Boston Public Library for many years. Eve enjoyed being a volunteer at the Museum of Fine Arts. She also taught citizenship through a program at the Stoughton Public Library. helping close to 100 people achieve their citizenship. She was the mother of Carmen Brogie and her husband Mathew of Boston, Ellen Mullaley and her husband John of Canton, Vincent Belur of Stoughton, and the late Peter Belur. Sister of Wolfram Beer of Germany and the late Arno Beer and Horst Beer. Eve is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Sunday, November 13th from 2-4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Eve’s memory to Casa Myrna Vazquez 451 Blue Hill Ave, Boston MA 02121, where she also volunteered.
