Arthur F. "Arty" Welliver Jr.     

Of Quincy, passed away unexpectedly Thursday July 16th, 2020 at Quincy Hospital at the age of 67.

Born on August 17, 1952 in Boston; beloved son of the late Arthur F. Welliver Sr. and Claire (Hartford) Welliver. Arty was raised in the Hyde Park section of Boston, and had been a longtime resident before moving to Quincy.

A graduate of Hyde Park High School, Arty had been employed as a Laborer with the Laborer's Union Local #22.

Arty had a love of dogs and was a generous soul throughout his life.

Arthur is survived by his brother Ronald Welliver and his wife Susan of Nashua, NH; his cousins James Hickey of Ablington, MA and Lorraine Hickey of Tamarac, FL; 
his nieces  Amy Morton, Melissa and Justin Mazzone, 2 great nieces, and longtime friends including Donna Baldwin, Nicole Baldwin Damigella, and Joshua Baldwin.
For the safety of those we love and care about during this difficult time, and for those who wish to pay their respects to Arthur's family can do so in accordance with CDC, Federal and State guidelines at a Graveside Funeral Service in Fairview Cemetery in HYDE PARK on Friday July 24th at 11:00 a.m.
